Scarab Beetle
One part of my job that I love is that I am able to tell a story through our jewelry collections. For this scarab project, I had envisioned a charm I wanted to wear close to me for manifestation, growth and mindfulness. Owning my own business. Being in a leadership role. Something I am constantly working on - myself, my business, my relationships.
With this series, I was able to work with Maggie Schupp, our production assistant,
to give her the opportunity to work on designing and wax carving (You can see her sketches and process below). I love being able to foster our team with their craft and metalsmithing.
Considered to be good luck, this sacred beetle was also used in ancient Egypt to represent all the cycles of life. My wish is that this Scarab Beetle charm will support you wherever you are on your journey.
